Jo Chrona ("I," "me," or "my") operates the website www.jochrona.ca (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit the Site, and your rights under applicable Canadian privacy law.

This Policy is intended to comply with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information you provide directly The Site does not have a contact form. If you reach out by clicking the email link (jochrona@gmail.com), I receive whatever information you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically The Site is built on Wix and uses Wix's standard built-in site analytics. This may automatically collect technical information about your visit, such as:

• IP address and approximate location

• Browser type and device information

• Pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring pages
   

This information is aggregated and used to understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., which pages are popular). It is not used to personally identify you.

Email correspondence sent to jochrona@gmail.com is processed through Google (Gmail), subject to Google's privacy policy.

I do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties except where required by law.

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies through Wix's built-in analytics functionality to collect the technical information described above. These are generally limited to what's needed for the Site to function and to generate basic visit statistics. I keep email correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or to satisfy legal, accounting, or record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Wix's standard retention practices.

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information in my control, including relying on the security measures provided by Wix and Google for hosting and email. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under BC PIPA and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information I hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)

• Ask questions or raise concerns about how your information is handled
